QUALIFICATIONS AND UNIT STANDARDS FOR PUBLIC COMMENT

The public is invited to comment on the qualifications and part qualifications recommended by the Quality Councils to SAQA for registration on the NQF. The recommended qualifications and part qualifications are available on SAQA's Searchable Database of Qualifications and Unit Standards for Public Comment. Comment on the qualifications and/or part qualifications should reach SAQA at the address below, and no later than the date shown in the search results and at the top of the qualification and part qualifications reports. QUALIFICATION The formal recognition of the achievement of the required number and range of credits and other requirements at specific levels of the NQF. Determined by the relevant bodies registered by SAQA. All qualifications and part qualifications submitted for public comment, or registered on the National Qualifications Framework, are public property. Thus, the only payment that can be made for them is for service and reproduction: it is illegal to sell this material for profit. If the material is reproduced or quoted, the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) should be acknowledged as the source.
