A learner who has achieved this unit standard will be competent in:

Polishing paprika oleoresin, without supervision, to ensure a quality final product.

UNIT STANDARD RANGE 
The scope of this unit standard deals with the polishing of paprika oleoresin, monitoring oleoresin levels, foam levels, gum levels, sediment levels, hexane levels, additives, steam, agitator, vacuum pressure, pumps, valves and paprika oleoresin throughput.

The specific outcomes as reflected in this unit standard are performed without direct supervision, but with access to standard working procedures and operating instructions.
