This unit standard is for people who apply pesticides either before or after planting.

People credited with this unit standard are able to:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of pests, pesticides, equipment and methods.
  • Prepare for pesticides application.
  • Apply pesticides. 

  • LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING 
    Communication, Mathematical Literacy at ABET Level 3 and basic knowledge of silviculture in commercial forestry.
