    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 1 
    1. The benefits of effective time management are listed and reference made to the impact of poor time management on own, family and work colleagues. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
    2. An assessment of the use of time over a minimum of six months highlights any shortcomings in personal goal setting, prioritising and setting of deadlines. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 
    3. Plans to improve time management skills are clear and achievable, and take into account the shortcomings of the past six months as well as estimated personal and work related obligations for the next six months. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 
    4. Progress against plans is measured at regular intervals, and alterations are made where necessary to cater for changing priorities. 

    SPECIFIC OUTCOME 2 
    Manage anger to enhance personal effectiveness.

    1. The possible causes of anger are explored and differentiation made between legitimate and destructive forms of anger.

    2. The advantages of controlling one's anger, and the consequences of not doing so, are described with regards to the impact on self and others.

    3. Situations are described that trigger angry responses from the individual, and possible reasons are given for these reactions. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 
    4. The anger cycle explained refers to a typical sequence of events experienced or observed by the individual.

    5. Strategies are demonstrated that enable the individual to deal positively with anger directed at them, as well as their own angry responses.

    1. Expected workplace behaviours are explained in terms of Company culture and their effect on the individual, team and organization. 
    ASSESSMENT CRITERION RANGE 
    Expected work place behaviours include but are not limited to: dress and communication codes, punctuality, relationships with co-workers and supervisors, use of Company equipment or personal satisfaction.
     

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
    2. Company policies that deal with safety, security, health, human resources and employee relations are discussed and the consequences of contravening them for the individual and the organization are explained. 

    ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 
    3. Personal issues that could affect an individual's work or cause others to be inconvenienced are dealt with honestly and with minimal workplace disruption. 
    ASSESSMENT CRITERION RANGE 
    Potential issues that could affect a person's work include: time-keeping, family situations, transport problems, sickness, use of Company equipment for personal satisfaction.

    4. The individual's own and team's job descriptions or role profiles are understood, and an evaluation made of further training required to achieve competence against the required outcomes.

    1. The sources of stress are described, and typical symptoms discussed with reference to individual responses to stressors.

    2. Consequences of not dealing with stress effectively are explained in terms of their impact on an individual's health and that of family, friends and work colleagues.

    3. Stress levels are identified and quantified, and plans designed to reduce personal stress and prevent further build up.

    4. Stress management plans are implemented and adjustments made where necessary, to enhance results.
