PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
To improve leadership qualities and the ability to supervise a medium size team effectively. 

LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING 
An NQF level 4 communication skills credit and an NQF level 4 supervision credit or relevant exposure and experience of supervision in the work place. 

UNIT STANDARD RANGE 
Teams of up to approximately 6 members.

Identify and analyse input, process and output in the work place and draw up a progress report.
